This Homemade Emerils Essence is a low salt version of the fabulous original. It is so easy to whip up and add that little extra flavor to your dishes.
I used to buy Emeril’s Essence often. I love that signature BAM of flavor. But my hubby doesn’t like a lot salt in his diet so it hasn’t been around for a long time. Making our own homemade taco seasoning was a huge hit too.
I was looking for some new recipes this weekend and came across his recipe and decided to whip up a low salt version for us.
I also cut back a little on the cayenne pepper since my daughter isn’t a huge extra spices lover. Feel free to add up to a one tablespoon for your own “hot” liking.
I grilled up some delicious turkey burgers for lunch the other day using this homemade Emeril’s Essence. Come back for that recipe on Wednesday.
