HOMEMADE MILANO COOKIES

THE PERFECT DESSERT

These homemade Milano cookies are crisp, butter cookies filled with a simple chocolate filling and are so easy to make with basic pantry ingredients.

Warm heavy cream then pour over chocolate to make chocolate ganache.

In a medium bowl,  add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt and whisk together.

In a mixing bowl, add softened butter, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract and milk then blend together.

Lastly add in the dry ingredients and mix just until barely mixed.

Pipe lines of cookie down in straight lines into parchment paper.

After baking, transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack for at least 10 minutes.

Spread the ganache onto the flat side of a half the cookies and top with another cookie to make a sandwich.

 ENJOY!
