Maple Roasted Pecans
Can I get an OH MY! My daughter asked me to roast some pecans for her. Can you see a pattern lately on requests from my daughter? She keeps the ideas flowing for me. 🙂
I used to just roast them in butter years ago. But remembered a friend of mine making a “candied” version of pecans and loving them. I knew my sweet-toothed daughter would love them too.
Using pure maple syrup makes them a little more healthy than using butter and brown sugar too.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups raw pecans halves
2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make Roasted Pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a bowl, mix the maple syrup and vanilla together.
Pour the nuts into the mixture and stir to coat thoroughly
Spread them out onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Let cool for 10 minutes
ENJOY!

I just made my first batch of Maple Roasted Pecans and just had to tell you how pleased I am with them. They are lightly sweet with just a touch of maple and vanilla flavor. This recipe is very simple and just what i was looking for. I was inspired to stuff some dates I just bought with them. As I was removing the pits I realized that they resemble the pecans. The dates taste so much better with the roasted pecans. Thanks for the recipe!
