ASPARAGUS AND BACON CARBONARA

INGREDIENTS

asparagus bacon garlic fettuccine egg yolks  Parmesan cheese olive oil

Place asparagus, bacon, garlic, and salt on a baking sheet.

Bake at 400 F for 15-20 minutes

In a small bowl, mix egg yolks, parmesan, olive oil, and black pepper together.

Cook fettuccine noodles  2 minutes less then package directions then drain

Add the egg mixture to the pasta and cooking, stirring continuous

Add 1/4-1/3 cup of the reserved pasta water and mix thoroughly

add the asparagus and bacon into the pasta and toss to coat.

Serve immediately. Garnish with parmesan cheese if desired.
