CREAM CHEESE PUFF PASTRY

SUCH A YUMMY DESSERT

This cream cheese puff pastry recipe is basically mini cheesecakes baked in a flaky pastry with a buttery pecan crumble and cream cheese filling. Top them with fresh fruit for a gorgeous dessert.

In a small bowl, add flour, chopped pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon and stir to combine then add butter and set aside.

In the medium bowl, add the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar and blend.

Add vanilla extract and egg to the cream cheese mixture.

Slice pastry dough into 12 equal sizes and press into muffin tin.

Scoop 2 tablespoons of  pecan mix into bottom of each pastry cup and top with cream cheese mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until brown then set on a wire rack to cool.

Top with fresh strawberries, blueberry, blackberries or a mix of berries if you'd like when ready to serve.

 ENJOY!
