THE PERFECT LOAF

This homemade Italian bread is soft inside with a golden crust—perfect for sandwiches, garlic bread, or dipping. One bite and it’ll be your go-to loaf every time!

Whisk the warm water, yeast, and sugar in the bowl and let that stand for 5 minutes.

Yeast will start to foam.

Add 3 cups of flour, sea salt, and olive oil.

Use the dough hook attachment to mix on low speed while adding flour.

Kneed dough until soft and sticky then transfer into large bowl to rise.

After rising, cut the ball in half and roll each ball into an oval shape.

Brush with olive oil, cover with plastic wrap, and let the dough rest and rise.

Score the top of each loaf to allow the steam to escape while baking.

Set on wire rack to cool before serving.
