LEMON SUGAR COOKIES

These cookies are soft, chewy, and bursting with lemon flavor. Made with fresh lemon zest and a buttery sugar cookie base, they’re perfect for spring, summer, or any lemony craving!

Whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric hand mixer until fluffy.

Add in the egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest and mix until just combined.

Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and blend until barely combined.

Use a cookie scoop to scoop out the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the for 8-10 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven.
