DELICIOUS DISH

Swiss steak is a comfort meal made with an inexpensive cut of meat and simple ingredients, making a tender beef smothered in a rich tomato gravy. It's the perfect family dinner and smells wonderful!

Season the steaks on all sides then dredge in flour.

In a dutch oven, sear the steaks for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned.

Leave little oil in pot, sauté carrots and onions for 3–5 mins, then add garlic for 1–2 mins until fragrant.

Mix in tomatoes and liquid from the can, add the beef broth, then whisk in the gravy mix.

Place steaks back into pot and bring everything to a boil then cover and simmer until tender.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles and your favorite vegetables!
