LEMON POUND CAKE

DELICIOUS DESSERT

Sweet, moist, and buttery with fresh lemon flavor this lemon pound cake gets even better when drizzled with a simple lemon glaze. It’s a showstopper with each scrumptious bite!

POUND CAKE INGREDIENTS – Butter – Sugar – Lemon Zest – Eggs – Lemon Juice – Vanilla Extract – Lemon Extract – Flour – Baking Powder – Salt

In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and lemon zest together.

Add in the eggs. lemon juice, and both extracts and combine.

Whisk together and add mixture to wet ingredients.

Blend mixture until combined.

Pour cake batter into loaf pan. Bake at 350°F.

Cool cake completely before adding glaze.

GLAZE INGREDIENTS – Powdered Sugar – Lemon Juice – Vanilla Extract – Lemon Zest

In small bowl, make glaze with powdered sugar, fresh lemon juice, vanilla extract, and zest.

Drizzle glaze over  cooled cake.
