Oreo Balls Recipe
This Oreo Balls Recipe is simple but scrumptious dessert. Just 3 ingredients is all you need for this easy no bake treat. Take them to any party and they will be a favorite for sure.
- 1 package of OREO Cookies or 40 Oreos finely crushed
- 1 8 oz. package of Cream Cheese softened
- 2 Semi-Sweet Chocolate bars, melted
- Crushed candy canes
Crush the oreo cookies in a ziploc bag. I use my handy rolling pin to beat mine. (reserve about 3 TBSP to sprinkle with
Mix the cookie crumbs and cream cheese until blended well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Freeze 10 min.
Dip balls in melted chocolate and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment or waxed paper. Use a toothpick for easier dipping.
Sprinkle with crushed candy canes cookie crumbs.
Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
Oreo Balls will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 weeks or freeze for 2 months.
If you prefer white chocolate oreo balls, it's works wonderful too.
You can also roll in crushed Oreos, sprinkles or crushed nuts if desired.
