Easy Chicken Potstickers

Easy Chicken Potstickers make a wonderful appetizer for parties or the perfect addition to any Asian dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers found in the produce department of most grocery stores
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • sesame or coconut oil
  • 1.5 cups broccoli slaw pre-packaged
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 TBSP freshly grated ginger
  • 1 TBSP soy sauce
  • pepper to taste
  • soy sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Cook chicken in a large skillet over medium high heat until completely done. Drain off any fat.
  • Return chicken to pan and add broccoli slaw to pan. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are softened.
  • Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes
  • Stir in crushed red pepper if using
  • Lay out wonton wrappers on a flat surface, a few at a time. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with water using your fingers or a pastry brush.
  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the ground chicken mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Fold won ton wrapper so that it forms a triangle. Gently press the edges to keep the pot stickers from coming apart while cooking.
  • Heat 2 TBSP of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potstickers in a single layer and cook about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
  • Serve with soy sauce for dipping if desired.
