This easy Brioche French Toast is made with thick, rich, and buttery bread slices, dipped in a cinnamon and vanilla flavored egg custard, then cooked until lightly golden!
In a medium shallow bowl, add the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and whisk together thoroughly.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes.
Add one tablespoon of butter and melt and coat the bottom to the pan completely.
Separately place a piece of bread in the egg mixture then flip it to coat the other side.
Place the dipped bread into the skillet. (I cook 2 slices at a time in the skillet)
Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom side is light golden brown.
Then flip it over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Add additional tablespoon of butter between batches.
Repeat with the remaining pieces of bread, dipping only just before cooking the slices so they don't get soggy.
Serve immediately with your desired toppings.
