Ingredients

  • 1 bunch bag of kale or 1 medium bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Wash kale leaves and dry well.
  • Using a kitchen scissors or a small knife trim off the thick ribs pieces.
  • Cut the kale into approximately two-inch pieces.
  • Add the oil to a large bowl.
  • Add the kale and toss thoroughly. Make sure that each piece is covered with the oil. That 1 tablespoon goes farther than you think.
  • Lay the kale in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8 - 12 minutes, until crisp. Check at 8 minutes and add time if needed. Do not burn. The curly kale will take longer than flat kale. My curly kale took right at 12 minutes and it was perfect!
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.
  • ENJOY!!!
