EASY  CARROT CAKE

EASTER DESSERT

This carrot cake is so much easier to make than the traditional carrot cake but packs the same great flavors and features a homemade cream cheese frosting to top it all off!

CARROT CAKE  INGREDIENTS – Canola Oil – Brown Sugar – Greek Yogurt – Eggs – Vanilla Extract – Carrots – Flour – Baking Soda – Baking Powder – Ground Cinnamon – Ground Nutmeg – Ground Ginger

In mixing bowl, add oil, brown sugar, yogurt, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly .

Mix in grated carrots.

In separate bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, baking soda and baking powder.

Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and lightly mix together.

Pour batter into baking sheet.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F. Set aside to cool.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING INGREDIENTS –  Cream Cheese – Butter – Powdered Sugar – Vanilla Extract

Beat butter and cream cheese. Mix in vanilla, then powdered sugar.

Spread frosting on carrot cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with chopped walnuts
