CROCK POT BEEF STROGANOFF

 COMFORTING FAVORITE!

Easy Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff with tender pieces of beef in a creamy mushroom sauce. 

beef stew meat  olive oil onion mushrooms  garlic  thyme  beef broth Worcestershire sauce sour cream cornstarch or flour

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat and sear meat for 1 minute on each side

Place the seared beef to the slow cooker and add the onion, garlic, mushrooms and thyme.

Add the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

Spoon out the beef and place it in a bowl. Stir in  sour cream with sauce and stir. to combine.

Add the beef back into the sauce and toss to coat.

Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
