Notes
Add up to 2 cups of a favorite veggie peas and carrots or green beans.Swap the ground beef with ground chicken or ground turkey or even ground sausage or chiorzo. You could also use a mixture of meats.Use cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom.Add a few cloves of minced garlic.Top it with some french fried onions or panko breadcrumbs.I prefer sharp cheddar cheese. But feel free to use any favorite shredded cheese you'd like.Be sure to grate the cheese off a block for the best creamiest melted cheese. Store cooled leftovers an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freeze for up to 2 months. You can also bake this in the oven at 350° F in a 9x13 inch casserole dish for about 30-35 minutes with the cheese on top.
