Place the metal rack in the bottom of the instant pot. (the one that came with it)
Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pressure cooker.
Place eggs carefully on top of the rack.
Seal the top on tightly and turn top knob to seal the cooker to high pressure.
Set the manual cooking time to 5 minutes (by pushing the manual button and adjusting the timer to 5 minutes)
After cooking , set a timer for 5 minutes and let the pressure release naturally.
Then quick release the remaining pressure by placing a towel over the top knob and turning it.
Carefully remove the hot eggs and place them immediately in a bowl of water full of ice. (aka ice bath)
After 5 minutes, you can easily peel the eggs.
Notes
For Medium Eggs reduce cook time by 1 minuteFor Extra Large Eggs increase cook time by 1 minute For soft boiled eggs reduce cook time by 2 minutes on all sizes.
