Slow Cooker Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken
Wonderful to have this ready for you when you get home from work. This Slow Cooker Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken is so unbelievably tender.
- 6 pound whole chicken about 5-6 pounds.
- 1 tablespoon garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion Powder
- 1 tablespoon rosemary fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 onion sliced (optional)
Remove the plastic baggie of neck, etc from inside the chicken.
Mix your spices together in a small bowl and rub the whole outside of the chicken with spice mixture.
Stuff the cavity of the chicken with lemon slices and onion slices.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker and cover.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or 4-6 hours on high until meat thermometer reads 180 F.
