These buttery air fryer apples are full of cinnamon-sugar goodness and ready to enjoy in 10 minutes! Whether enjoyed alone, as a topping for yogurt or oatmeal, or served with vanilla ice cream, these air-fried apples are the best snack or dessert.
Wash the apples and dry them with a paper towel. Using an apple corer, core them and then cut into ½-inch thick slices.
3 medium Granny Smith apples
Place the apple slices in a large bowl and drizzle them with the melted butter and stir to coat evenly.
2 tablespoons butter
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter coated slices and toss again to coat well.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Place the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket leaving space between each slice. (be careful not to overcrowd and cook in batches if necessary).
Air fry for 5 minutes. Then flip them over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until they are golden brown and fork tender.
Serve warm, either on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream or they make a great topping for yogurt or oatmeal too.
Notes
Use a different apple. For tart flavor like granny smith, use McIntosh Cortland. For sweeter flavors, use Honeycrisp or Gala
Substitute with coconut oil for a different flavor.
Swap the white sugar for brown sugar instead.
Add other spices. A pinch of nutmeg, cloves, allspice, or even a dash of cardamom are all delicious.
Leave the peel on the apples for more texture or peel them if you prefer.
