Notes
Use to frost your favorite spice cake, carrot cake, applesauce cake or red velvet cake. This is a wonderful frosting for spreading on cakes or piping on cupcakes or cookies. The recipe will frost a 9x13 sheet cake, an 8 or 9-inch round (2) layer cake or 24 cupcakes.Carefully measure the sugar and using the spoon and level method so the frosting is too sweet and too thick. Lightly scoop the sugar out of the bag and into a measuring cup.If you'd like it more sweet, add up to one more cup of sugar for a total of 4 cups.Refrigerate leftovers for up to a week.
