This haystacks recipe is a classic, no-bake treat that's easy to make with just three simple ingredients. They are a favorite sweet, salty and crunchy candy for holiday parties, cookie exchanges or gift boxes.
In a medium bowl (that’s microwave safe, add the butterscotch chips and peanut butter.
11 ounces butterscotch chips, ¾ cup peanut butter
Microwave on 60% power for one minute. Remove and stir. Repeat again for 30 seconds then move and stir until chips are melted. The bowl is usually warm enough to keep melting them.
Add the chow mein noodles into the melted mixture and stir until coated thoroughly.
10 ounces chow mein noodles
Using a spoon, scoop the mixture onto the parchment paper into about 2 inch stacks.
Let them cool until hardened before enjoying. Place in the refrigerator for a 15-20 minutes if you’d like.
