Simple pretzel bark recipe is easy to make with melted chocolate chips and gooey caramels, and a sprinkle of sea salt. It's the ultimate sweet and salty treat that's ready in no time.
Stir once again and repeat one more time. The bowl is usually warm enough for it to continue melting as you stir them. Be careful not to overheat or it will seize and become too thick.
Pour ¾ of the chocolate mixture onto the parchment paper and spread it into a thin layer.
Place the pretzels all over the top of the melted chocolate.
1 cup mini pretzel twists
In a separate microwave safe bowl, add the unwrapped caramels and the heavy cream. Heat for 30 seconds. Then stir and repeat one or two more times until completely melted.
11 ounces Kraft caramel candies, 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the melted caramel over the pretzels and swirl with the spoon.
Drop the remaining chocolate mixture by spoonfuls over the caramel, and swirl to combine. Reheat the chocolate for a few more seconds if it has thickened.
Sprinkle with coarse sea salt, if desired.
