These cottage cheese chips are a great low-carb snack that are made with just cottage cheese (and any favorite seasoning you’d like to top them with) and then simply baked until crispy and golden.

I knew when I first saw this viral little snack I just had to try it. It has now become a favorite of mine and I now have my daughter loving them as well. They are so easy to make!

Just One Ingredient Needed
- Full fat cottage cheese is the only ingredient you will need. Be sure it is at least 4% fat and 13 -14% protein. This ratio tends to you the best crispiness.
Tip: Different cottage cheese brands will possibly give different results. Some have more liquid than others and may be more watery.
- Optional seasonings: Customize them with different toppings. I love to sprinkle Everything But The Bagel seasoning on mine. But you can use garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, ranch seasoning or taco seasoning too.
How to Make This Cottage Cheese Chips Recipe
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Reynolds brand does work
You can drain the cottage cheese to remove as much excess moisture as possible.

Step 2: Using a cookie scoop, scoop 1 – 1/1/2 tablespoons of cottage cheese onto the lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart and gently flatten with the back of the scoop or spoon.
Sprinkle with any seasoning you want to add.
Step 3: Bake for 20 minutes and take a peak at them. If they have started to spread too much, you can take the baking tray out of the oven and use a spatula to reshape them into circle.
Step 4: Cook for another 15 minutes or until golden brown. I cooked mine for 35-40 minutes. The baking time can vary based on brand of cottage cheese and the parchment paper you use.
Let them cool completely on the pan for at least 10-15 minutes so they crisp up.

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container or baggie in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat / re-crisp them on a baking sheet in the oven at 300° F or in an air fryer at 275° F for 5-10 minutes. check after 5 minutes. I let them cool again after re-crisping.
