How long do candied pecans last?

Store candied pecans in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks.

    Can you freeze candied pecans?

Yes you sure can! After cooling completely, place them in a freezer-safe container or freezer bag. You can freeze them in small batches or one large container. If you’re using bags, squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing them. It is best to thaw them in the refrigerator over room temperature so they don’t become sticky.

If the pecans have lost some of their crunch after freezing and thawing, you can re-crisp them by placing them in a preheated oven at 250° F for 5-10 minutes. Be sure to check them often to prevent over cooking.
