Baking Measurement Tip
I honestly didn’t realize how important measurements were until I was much older. I didn’t know that dry ingredients and wet ingredients were supposed to measured different cups! Dry ingredients use dry measuring cups that can be leveled off (scraped flat) with the back of a knife. Wet ingredients use a liquid measuring cup that has a spout. Many people actually use a food scale to get exact measurements to the gram.
Being even just a tad off with your measurement in baking can have your recipe be too moist, too dry, fail to rise, etc. Baking is definitely a little more of a science that just basic cooking.
