I’m going to admit something to you all.  Ready?  I have never bought a fresh mango. I know, it’s crazy!!

On the rare occasion that we go to Panera Bread, my daughter love, love, loves their mango smoothies.  Something this week reminded her of them and she asked if we could try to make them ourselves.   Well, of course we can!

I thought about buying frozen mango but decided it was time to do something new and different and buy that first fresh mango and go with it.

This is such an easy recipe to make and remember for the future.   It is just one of each. Banana, mango, milk, yogurt, vanilla, ice.

You could also substitute orange juice for the milk if you prefer. And I actually added a scoop of protein powder to mine too!

    YUMS!!

    INGREDIENTS

    1 medium ripe banana

1 large, ripe mango, peeled and diced

    1 cup milk of choice

1 cup fat free plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    1 cup ice cubes

    DIRECTIONS

Combine the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

    ENJOY!!

That looks so good! Banana/mango is one of my favorite smoothie flavor combos! I usually add spinach too, It makes the entire thing look SO green but it really does taste amazing 🙂

      Have a Blessed Week!

I always hesitate to buy fresh mangos too – I’m never sure when they are ripe. Your Mango Banana Smoothie looks delicious – lovely, rich and creamy. Thank you for sharing with Hearth and Soul. Scheduled to pin.
