    How to Make Hard Boiled Eggs in the Oven

    Making hard boiled eggs in the oven is an easy way to get perfect eggs every time with little effort.

    Whether you are making a big batch for deviled eggs or Easter egg dying or just to each for a healthy snack, baking eggs in the oven is a game changer.

    Making Hard Boiled Eggs in the Oven

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

    Place eggs in a muffin tin (so they don’t roll around)

    Bake for 30 minutes

    Then place in ice water for 10 minutes.

    Peel eggs and ENJOY!!

      Great idea! The only question I have is this: isn’t this way of boiling an egg way more expensive? You know, energy wise? Because of the 30 minutes in the oven as compared to 6 minutes on a stove?

        don’t forget the time it takes to boil water, plus you can’t fit a dozen in the pot at one time.

      Funny, I just did a post and link on how too cook hard boiled eggs in the rice cooker since I didn’t care for the oven method 🙂 … the rice cooker is nice as it doesn’t heat up the kitchen! 🙂

      This reminds me of when I lived in Thailand, one of my favourite things they sell on the beach, in terms of food, is cooked eggs. The sellers carry small portable homemade BBQs and cook the eggs, in their shells, over them. Yummy!

      Good Morning Sherri, I received your email in my intray, and I was intrigued, because I thought I knew how to boil an egg…. but this is a revelation I can honestly say I have never heard of cooking hard boiled eggs in the oven. This I am absolutely going to be trying.
