A white bowl filled with apple dip topped with caramel sauce, garnished with two apple slices, sits on a light surface near a cutting board with more apple slices.

This creamy apple dip comes together in minutes with simple ingredients of cream cheese, sugars and vanilla extract. It’s the easiest fall appetizer, dessert or snack to serve with fresh apple slices, pretzels or crackers like animal crackers.

    Delicious Caramel Apple Dessert Dip

Love caramel apples but not the mess of making or eating them? I have you covered with this great little no bake dip!

When I first made this dip years ago, my kids ate it so quick that my husband never got a chance to even try it.  So needless to say, it has become a fall favorite treat that I make often as well as this pumpkin cheesecake dip. Our favorite apples to dip in it are honey crisp and tart granny smith apples but use any different kinds of apples you like.

If you are serving this at a party or holiday get together, slices all of your apples and place them in a zip closure baggies and add 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice (fresh or bottled) to keep them from turning brown.

    Just 4 Easy Ingredients Needed

The complete list of ingredients with amounts are listed in the full recipe card below.

Ingredients for Apple Dip including a block of cream cheese on a plate, bowls of brown sugar and powdered sugar, and a measuring spoon of vanilla extract on a marble surface.
    • Cream cheese -Softened to room temperature. Use either full fat, ⅓ less fat or fat free if you’d like. Just be sure it’s a plain block and not the whipped cream cheese variety.
    • Brown sugar – I like the mixture of both sugars but feel free to use all brown sugar if you’d like.
    • Powdered sugar – swap for white granulated sugar if desired or leave out if using all brown sugar.
    • Vanilla extract – Use pure vanilla extract and not imitation.
    • Caramel sauce – I use Ghiradhelli brand to drizzle over top for that perfect caramel apple flavor! It’s optional but we highly recommend it.

    Variations to Try

    1. Add chopped peanuts on top after placing in a serving dish.

    2. Top with mini chocolate chips or toffee chips

    3. Sprinkle with a dash of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
