    Pumpkin Dip Ingredients Notes

Several glass bowls containing ingredients for pumpkin cheesecake dip - butter, pumpkin puree and cinnamon sugar mix.
    • Pumpkin Puree – I use canned pumpkin puree but you can use homemade pumpkin puree too as long as it’s not too watery.
    • Cream Cheese – softened to room temperature. I use full fat cream cheese but you can use fat free or ½ less fat varieties too.
    • Light brown sugar – to add the perfect amount of sweetness. You can also use dark brown sugar.
    • Pumpkin pie spice – adds the fall flavors we love. It’s so easy to make your own pumpkin pie spice and always have it on hand.
    • Cinnamon – a little ground cinnamon adds more warmth.

    Variations To Try

    1. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
    2. Use powdered sugar, white sugar or maple syrup instead of brown sugar.
    3. Add mini chocolate chips.
    4. Use a vegan cream cheese if desired.
    5. Add in ½ cup of cool whip (or homemade whipped cream) or sour cream or greek yogurt for extra creaminess.

What to Serve With This Pumpkin Dip Recipe

    • Serve this with salty snacks like cinnamon tortilla chips, graham crackers, cinnamon graham crackers, gingersnap cookies, pretzels or vanilla wafers
    • Serve with fresh fruit like pear or apple slices.
    • Serve with fresh vegetables like carrots or celery.
    • Serve with breadsticks.
    • Pumpkin dip is not just for dipping; it’s also great as a spread on toast or as a filling for pastries. The options are limitless.
