Pumpkin Dip Ingredients Notes
- Pumpkin Puree – I use canned pumpkin puree but you can use homemade pumpkin puree too as long as it’s not too watery.
- Cream Cheese – softened to room temperature. I use full fat cream cheese but you can use fat free or ½ less fat varieties too.
- Light brown sugar – to add the perfect amount of sweetness. You can also use dark brown sugar.
- Pumpkin pie spice – adds the fall flavors we love. It’s so easy to make your own pumpkin pie spice and always have it on hand.
- Cinnamon – a little ground cinnamon adds more warmth.
Variations
1. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
2. Use powdered sugar, white sugar or maple syrup instead of brown sugar.
3. Add mini chocolate chips.
4. Use a vegan cream cheese if desired.
5. Add in ½ cup of cool whip (or homemade whipped cream) or sour cream or greek yogurt for extra creaminess.
