Beach Boy Punch is a simple mixture of juices and ginger ale, is the perfect crisp drink to include at any family gathering.

This Beach Boy Punch recipe comes from our Nanna Anna’s very own cookbook that she typed, yes, typed out for us in 1998!! God love her sweet self! She wanted all of her kids to have all of the recipes they grew up on in one handy spot. What else could she do back in 1998 but break out her electric typewriter and white out and type away.

To be honest, this cookbook is probably one of the most used and dirty cookbooks I own. I can see where the homemade Chocolate Fudge Cake recipe (aka most requested Birthday Cake) automatically is just by the crinkled chocolate-covered edges of the pages.

I have always thought that it would be fun to recreate a many of the recipes in it and have them all posted here so that my kids can have them at their fingertips whenever they want to make one of Nanna’s recipes too.   I would have to “healthify” many of the recipes to fit my clean eating since many of them have lard or Crisco as ingredients.   Oh, the memories of watching my grandmother cook her amazing fried chicken in Crisco.  I used to love to watch it melt in the cast iron skillet as she battered the cut up whole chicken in her extra special seasonings.

Anywho, this Beach Boy Punch has been served at every holiday gathering and special occasion for years and years. But that’s about it. Why is that? I have absolutely no idea.  It’s just been one of those treasured holiday only recipes.

Since we are just a few weeks from Thanksgiving, I thought it was the perfect time to share this family favorite.  It’s just four common ingredients mixed into one phenomenal punch loved by all ages.  Simply mix orange juice, cranberry juice, ginger ale and lemon juice and there you have it.

We have a go to holiday drink that is very similar. We mix cranberry juice (Often cran/raspberry or cranapple) with 7up and then we squeeze lemons, limes, and oranges in it and top with slices. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
      hugs,
      Jann
