This easy dill pickle dip recipe is about to become a new favorite chip dip if you are a pickle lover. It’s a creamy dip that’s loaded with flavor from chopped pickles, cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. It comes together in minutes and is perfect for bbq’s, game day, parties, or anytime snacking.

This Pickle Dip is SO Delicious
Like this ranch cottage cheese dip, this delicious dip is a breeze to whip up with just four ingredients and 10 minutes or less of your time.
I love the tangy flavor of hamburger pickles over kosher dill pickles (like Clausen or Grillo’s pickles) but that is purely personal preference. You can’t go wrong with any favorite pickle of yours.
This recipe is easy to double or triple, which I highly suggest for larger crowds. It’s one of those appetizers that disappears fast! Serve with your favorite potato chips, pretzels or crackers. It’s even perfect on a veggie tray with celery and carrot sticks and sliced red bell peppers and broccoli florets.

Ingredients Needed
The complete list of ingredients with amounts are listed in the full recipe card below.
- Cream cheese – I used regular softened cream cheese. (Just let it sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften). ⅓ less fat cream cheese is great too.
- Dill pickles– chopped in small pieces with my handy vegetable chopper. You will also add a little pickle juice too.
- Sour cream – Use regular or light sour cream as well. You can also swap it for plain Greek yogurt too.
- Ranch seasoning mix – I use Hidden valley ranch powdered dressing mix over the dip mix. Swap the ranch seasoning for 2 teaspoons fresh dill (or ½ teaspoon of dried dill), a teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon onion powder.
Variations To Try
1. Add a couple of tablespoons of chopped banana peppers.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped dill.
