How do you like your coffee? I am a cream and sugar kind of gal. I love powdered creamer but I don’t like all the ugly ingredients that are listed on it so I have just actually just been using plain fat-free or 1% milk for years.
Have you read what’s on the label of the store-bought powdered creamer? Yuck!
So I started doing some research and playing around with making my own and I am so happy with this 3 ingredient Homemade Coffee Creamer!!
The coconut oil makes it extra creamy!
Ingredients for this Homemade Coffee Creamer
1 Cup Powdered Milk (or powdered coconut milk )
⅓ Cup Powdered Sugar
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
If you like more flavored creamer then you can add a teaspoon of powdered vanilla or cocoa powder too 🙂
How to Make Homemade Coffee Creamer
1. Mix together the powdered milk and powdered sugar.
2. Drizzle the melted coconut oil over the dry ingredients.
3. Pulse in a food processor for about 1 minute or until fine. Or you can put it in your jar and shake vigorously.
If there are any slightly bigger pieces, don’t worry. They melt perfectly in your coffee. 🙂
Store in a jar of your choice.

Does it need refrigeration?
Sherri
I have not refrigerated it myself 🙂

No. Grew up using this in the Caribbean for breakfast. Add to cons to water and mix and use. Can be stored in an air tight container or kept in a glass jar pantry. If I didn’t come In the can.

Hi … tried this out today with brown sugar, vanilla essence (as no vanilla powder available) and cut down the coconut oil to just a tsp. Was on a search for homemade coffee creamer powder as I make filter coffee at home and this turned out perfect to my taste.
LOVED IT!!!!
Thanks for sharing 🙂

Why use coconut oil in the creamer?
PennyBatts
It’s important to note the difference between Instant Milk and powdered milk. They are completely different processes and result in much different products. Powdered milk won’t dissolve like Instant will. But thank you for this recipe, I’ve been missing the coconut oil!

The main reason l use non dairy creamers .. l am lactose intolerant.. so this homemade creamer won’t work for me.

You can use powdered coconut milk!

What can be used alternative to powder sugar? I am diabetic
Sherri
You could substitute with your choice of artificial sweetener if desired. You would need much, much less of course. 🙂

Amazon sells sugar free powdered sugar or you can make your own
Jill
Can you make this without the powdered sugar? I like to make it as creamy as I like and put in sugar separately. I like to control sweetness and creaminess independently (:

Can you use pumpkin pie spice in this creame
Sherri
I think that’s a fabulous idea! I have an easy recipe for homemade pumpkin pie spice, https://www.tosimplyinspire.com/homemade-pumpkin-pie-spice.html. I’m going to try it too 🙂

I don’t use sugar in my coffee and I am on keto. Why is there sugar in a creamer?
Karen
This is just what I needed. I have started making my own liquid creamer, but have run out. No more milk to make more and I refuse to go out. I have all the ingredients for this, so I’ll give it a shot. Gotta have the creamer for coffee.

Thank you!!!♡♡♡

I love this and will try it. I Started drinking my coffee black because of all the bad stuff in creamers. With the holidays coming this will be good to have for guest too.
But I love the Pumpkin pie flavor does anyone know how to make it at home?
