This Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is perfect for getting your taste of Fall each morning.  Creamy healthy goodness!

    Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

This time of year, I like to switch out my ole reliable Strawberry Blueberry Banana smoothie for this Pumpkin Pie smoothie.  It is oh so delicious and packed full of healthiness.

I like to freeze bananas that start to turn brown on the counter.  They are perfect to have on hand to toss into your smoothies.  You can peel them and place them in a freezer bag.  Sometimes I cut them into slices, freeze for a about 30 minutes on a cookie sheet (so they don’t stick together) and then put them in a freezer bag.

When it comes time for smoothie making, just pop them in the blender for added creaminess.  🙂

    Pumpkin Pie Smoothie1

    INGREDIENTS

    ½ cup pumpkin puree

⅓ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

    1 banana

¾ cup fat free milk (your choice or almond or soy milk)

    1 tsp of vanilla

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

    ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

    ¼ tsp cinnamon

    4-5 ice cubes

    DIRECTIONS

Place all the ingredients into a blender.

    Blend until smooth

    ENJOY!!
