These easy Sweet Potato Fries are oven baked in a light seasoning for the perfect amount of crispiness.

This recipe is almost too easy to call a recipe.  Like these easy roasted potatoes or these amazing Greek Lemon Potatoes, they are a wonderful addition to so many meals.

A pile of sweet potato fries on a baking sheet

The key to making the best sweet potato fries is to make sure they are not touching each other on your baking sheet.  If they are overlapping at all, they will let off steam and turn out much softer.   Use two baking sheets if you need to.

Using parchment paper on the baking sheet helps ensure the desired crispiness.

Replace the garlic and paprika with cinnamon and a little nutmeg. I like to put the spices on after the fries have cooked so the spices don’t burn.

Serve these healthy sweet potatoes fries alongside any of these healthy main dish recipes:

    Notes

Make sure they are not touching each other on your baking sheet.  If they are overlapping at all, they will let off steam and turn out much softer.
Cut them into wedges, rounds or thin shoestring-like strips (adjust cooking time to slightly less for thinner strips)
Use two baking sheets if you need to.
Using parchment paper on the baking sheet will help make them crispy.
Play around with the seasonings.   Replace the garlic and paprika with cinnamon and a little nutmeg.
