Yogurt Parfait with layers blueberries, strawberries and granola with text overlay

These Red, White, and Blue Parfaits make the perfect patriotic treat.  Simply layer fresh strawberries, fat free yogurt and fresh blueberries with a little granola in the center for an easy  and healthy dessert without the guilt.

I love making these Red White and Blue Parfaits for 4th of July or Memorial Day festivities not only because they are so easy and loved by everyone but because they are healthy too. They go great along side other healthy recipes this Orzo Pasta Salad or this Creamy Cucumber Salad and Avocado Deviled Eggs.  These Patriotic Pretzels are a fun, easy little snack too!

A glass with layers of yogurt, strawberries, blueberry and granola

Simply use strawberries, blueberries, fat free plain or vanilla Greek yogurt and granola (homemade granola is easy to make too). I use plain a lot when making them and love to drizzle them with honey to sweeten just a tad.

We have been picking fresh strawberries the past couple of weeks. Oh my how I love the plump juiciness of fresh strawberries! Do you know this little tip of how to make fresh strawberries last longer?  Next week opens up blueberry picking season in our area! Maybe even before the 4th just in time for these parfaits. 🙂

Ingredients for Red, White, and Blue Yogurt Parfaits

Fresh strawberries, cut into small pieces

    Fresh blueberries

Fat Free plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

All natural granola or make your own easy Homemade Granola

    Honey, optional

a strawberry, blueberry, granola and yogurt parfait

How to Make Red, White, and Blue Yogurt Parfaits

Layer bottom of glasses with strawberries

Then, layer with a couple of tablespoons of yogurt

    Next, layer with blueberries.

    Place a layer of granola

Then repeat with another layer of strawberries, yogurt and blueberries (red, white and blue)

    ENJOY!!

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum
it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m
still new to everything. Do you have any points
for rookie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

These are so cute! Honestly, I really need to get myself some glasses like this in order to make some cute desserts. Although, considering all that is in these, this sounds like breakfast to me!

Thanks Pattie! I got the glasses at Home Goods. They are actually wine glasses believe it or not. I have been eating this for breakfast for years! 🙂

What a fantastic, simple dessert! Perfect for occasions when I want to focus more on guests and less on prepping the next course while they’re eating. 🙂
